Away Match, Anglian Combination Division 3 - 2013 - 2014
Loss, 0 - 4
We travelled to Waveney and found out after 1 minute why they are top... As that was how long they took to score - and we hadn't even touched the ball yet!
Once we decided to get involved, we battled hard and played some lovely football.
In the end, we lost 4-0, but having gone behind so early and being 3-0 down at half time, I think we did ok.
My squad is coming together now and this is the first week I've had the task of telling some players they won't have a game as we have too many available!!
The likes of Andy Talbot, David Storey, Michael Ayton and Dave Adams have all impressed me since joining us, along with captain Ian Lemon, Mikey Smith and Tristran Docherty who always put a shift in. The thing that's pleased me most in recent weeks is the form of youngsters Tom Leeder and Alex Robins as well as fullback Oliver Smith who has been simply outstanding.
