Report By Trevor Shurmer (Club Secretary)

Saturday, 16th April 2022, 3PM, at PLAYING FIELD HEMPNALL

Home Match, Barnes Print Central & South Norfolk League Division 3 - 2021 - 2022

Win, 3 - 0

Hempnall Reserves played their final game of the season against Tacolneston Reserves, looking to end the season on a high note. The assistant Manager, Trett,, after his hat-trick the week before, will have been disappointed not to have even managed a place on the bench today, but he still turned up to support the boys!

With an almost full squad available (only Batterham missing) and a mid table position assured, Radford had the luxury of being able to rotate the squad to give all players a good period of time on the pitch.

Hempnall always looked the stronger today, and their frequent forays into the Tacolneston half brought dividends, and with better finishing could have scored quite a few, though Tacolneston played their part and themselves had a few half chances, snuffed out by the back four, and goalkeeper Ryan who was quick off his line.

So, a 3-0 victory, with goals from Ryan Cullabine, Kourosh Amini and Ryan Wheeler.

Let’s look forward to next season, Tom and the lads have had an enjoyable season here at Hempnall.

Today’s MOM – one player stood out for me today, Simon Cullabine.
