    Away Match, Anglian Combination Division 3 - 2017 - 2018

    Yesterday, we had the short trip to Ceyms in another game where 3 points was the aim, and despite Ceyms being on level points with Hempnall, they have 5 games in hand so could arguably be seen as potentially a top 6 side. The game was going to be difficult.

     

    Hempnall started the game well despite playing against the strong wind which made playing conditions very difficult.

     

    There were very few chances in the first half, Hartle was unlucky when he brought the ball down on the edge of the area and hit one first time, then Clarke came close with a header after some good wing play from Ethrington.

     

    Half time 0-0.

     

    The second half started much the same, and neither team really created a clear cut chance, the Hempnall back 4 and keeper Davies were very strong and gave Ceyms nothing.

     

    Final score 0-0.

     

    Another point in are battle to stay in Division 3 and a clean sheet, let's keep working hard boys.

     

    Well done to all the lads who all worked hard in difficult conditions.
