Hempnall First Team v Earsham

Report By Matthew Jillings (Management Committe)

Tuesday, 15th August 2017, 6:30PM, at None

Away Match, Anglian Combination Division 3 - 2017 - 2018

Loss, 0 - 1

Tuesday night we kicked off the season with an away trip to Earsham with a new look Hempnall side. The boys played some great football, but never really tested the keeper and Earsham never threatened our goal.

Half time 0-0.

The second half was much the same as the first half, with both sides playing good footie, but neither tested the keeper.

Hempnall's best chance fell to Ben Lewis, who controlled the ball and hit a good volley unfortunately straight at the keepe.

In the 75th minute, Earsham took the lead which turned out to be the winning goal.

Final score 1-0, Managers Trett and Bunn both disappointed with the result but pleased with the performance.
