Hempnall FC

The Club was saddened to hear of the passing of club stalwart Bernard' Iky' Youngs.

Bernard was associated with the club for many years, playing from the early 50's, also playing for Bungay and often seen refereeing at the Club and in his later years, as a supporter, cheering us on from the sidelines.

Bernard lived into his late 80's, playing in the same team as former well know Hempnall players and officials, Ray Youngman and Hughie Tweeddale, Neville Day and several others. The last in a long line.
