Hempnall FC

The Hempnall Presentation for the 2022-2023 season was held at the village hall on Sunday 28th May 2023.

In sunny conditions, the function was well attended, with the Chairperson, Jason Trett, contributing to the cost of the bouncy castle for the kids , so many thanks to him for that kind gesture.

Also, club stalwart Tristran Docherty whose business 'Peaky Pizzas', provided the absolutely excellent pizzas which went down very well with everybody. Highly recommended for any function, their details are on the sponsors section of this website.

We also saw Aaron 'Bunno' Bunn taking a break from running the first team, we are most grateful to him for his years of service and Bunno was presented with a very nice cut glass decanter, and a bottle of (one of) his favourite tipples, Spiced Rum. 

Other presentations outside the teams were made to Chris Reynolds, the Reserve team assistant referee, plus Lisa and Zoe Cullabine, for their efforts on behalf of the Reserves. Regrettably Susan Davis could not attend, but we are very grateful to her for her efforts as our Hospitality Manager, running our small hospitality bar at first team matches.

Sunday Team Manager's Player of the Year - Justin Womack

Sunday Team Players Player of the Year - Edward Lake

Club Top Scorer - Ryan Cullabine.

A special 'Clubman of the Year' award was made to Shaun Kelly, who has been with the club for a number of years, and has become a very popular team member and a person the club is very happy to have here.
