The Season Starts Now...

Hempnall Res vs Loddon Res

With a solid performance from the Hempnall Reserves against a hugely impressive Bungay side, spirits appeared high heading into the Reserves encounter with second from bottom Loddon Res.

Not being able to watch the game, my account from here onwards is based on 3 drunken voice mails, 19 text messages, 4 picture messages and a Snapchat.

The Hempnall Reserves had finally found fourth gear and turned on a showboating display which brought the fans in from the surrounding hamlets in their droves. The winning goal came from Hempnall very own Valentino Rossi, Alex Chapman who cracked one past the keeper from 20 yards after coming on as an impact substitution by the multi lingual, half Portuguese tactician, Dale Oxborough. Loddon battled well but in the end couldn't deal with the Hempnall fire power provided by Batterham, Leeder and Chapman.

A great day at the office. Well done boys!!

The final score 2-1.
